ASG Management is seeking a versatile and skilled Facility Maintenance technician to join our team. This position will involve working at the KOA campground in Bowling Green, KY, where the individual will be responsible for a wide range of maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our property.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing, landscaping, weed control, and trash removal to maintain a clean and attractive environment.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs or maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
- Carry out basic electrical work such as wiring repairs, outlet installations, and lighting fixture replacements to maintain safety and functionality.
- Perform tree trimming and pruning to ensure the health and aesthetics of trees on the property.
- Apply painting expertise to maintain or enhance the appearance of buildings, fences, and other structures.
- Perform mechanical equipment maintenance to keep machinery and appliances in good working condition.
- Install and replace flooring as necessary, including carpet, tile, and laminate.
- Conduct plumbing repairs and maintenance tasks to address leaks, clogs, and other issues.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in facility maintenance and handyman work, with expertise in groundskeeping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot various maintenance issues effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with staff and customers.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may require heavy lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
