Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on existing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning heating and cooling systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct inspections of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
- Weld components as needed for repairs or installations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding system performance and maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
- Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field of service technician work.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting purposes.
- Ability to weld and perform appliance repair tasks as necessary.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Relevant certifications in HVAC technology or related fields are a plus but not required.
