Affordable Plumbing, Heating & Air is a locally owned, veteran-owned and woman-operated company serving Baldwin County since 1996. We are growing and looking for motivated individuals who want to build a long-term career in the plumbing trade—not just another job.
Position Summary
As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced technicians to learn our service system, develop technical skills, and deliver five-star service to our customers. This is an entry-level position with a clear path for growth into a licensed, high-earning technician.
What You’ll Do
- Assist licensed plumbers with service, repair, and installation jobs
- Learn to identify plumbing components and understand how systems work
- Prepare tools, materials, and job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers in the home
- Follow our service process (training provided)
- Participate in hands-on training and ongoing development
- Support warehouse organization and inventory as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Coachable and willing to learn our process
- Comfortable working in homes and interacting with customers
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (attics, crawlspaces, outdoors)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic mechanical aptitude (no experience required—we will train the right person)
