Job duties:

• Learn about all sorts of rodent, insect, flying, and crawling pests, study for licensing exams, and participate in weekly meetings and regular training to maintain certifications in a variety of pest control topics
• Manage a dedicated route of about 10-12 per day of commercial and residential clients, cultivating a mindset that truly puts customer's wants & needs first
• Drive and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized company service vehicle according to Affordable Pest Control and DOT standards
• Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in company vehicle
• Apply Eco-friendly pest products to residential & commercial properties
• Complete reports for services rendered after each service
• Provide education based and uncompromising service, aiming to exceed client expectations in every interaction by effectively communicating by answering customer questions and addressing customer concerns
• Continually educate oneself on pest control best practices in the Colorado Region.
• Be willing to go above and beyond to satisfy customer's pest control needs and wants

Job Requirements:

• No experience necessary, though many qualified candidates have 2 years in warehousing, construction, food service, or other physically demanding jobs
• Must possess a high level of professionalism and integrity.
• Must be able to occasionally go up on ladders
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to comfortably go into crawl spaces and attics
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
• Must be comfortable working primarily outdoors in all types of weather conditions, e.g., rain, snow, cold and hot weather
• Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in varying environments and job site conditions
• Must have an attention to detail and high standards of work quality
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (Fewer than 2 moving violations in the last three years)
• High School diploma or GED
• Must be able to keep up and adapt to a fast-paced environment and occasional changes in daily routine
• Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict, and make effective decisions under pressure
• Proficiency in computer software and systems including, but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), scheduling and mapping software, smartphone applications, and web-based portals; ability to learn new software quickly

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
