Seeking a motivated and strategic Supply Chain Manager to join a growing organization with strong advancement opportunities. This role will focus on supplier management, strategic sourcing, and vendor performance improvements supporting multiple sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience with enterprise-level strategic commodities and a background in box build manufacturing (systems integration/electromechanical assembly), including integrating completed printed circuit boards into fully functional electronic products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage strategic supplier relationships and vendor performance initiatives
- Communicate directly with suppliers to analyze contracts, improve service cost-effectiveness, and ensure compliance with aerospace/defense quality and delivery requirements.
- Lead supplier escalation issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
- Drive supplier improvements supporting multiple operational sites
- Lead supplier negotiations, long-term agreements, and strategic sourcing initiatives
- Analyze supplier performance metrics and implement continuous improvement strategies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, and quality teams
- 2–5 years of supply chain, sourcing, or procurement experience
- Experience with enterprise strategic commodities preferred
- Background in box build / systems integration / electromechanical assembly strongly preferred
- Strong negotiation, supplier management, and analytical skills
- Aerospace/ Defense industry experience is ideal
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree is a plus
