Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Cleveland, GA, working from 9 am to 7 pm, Friday through Sunday. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in patient care, with experience across various healthcare settings, including long-term care, assisted living, hospitals, and home care. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by delivering exceptional support and medical assistance.
Duties
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using equipment like Hoyer lifts.
- Assist with medication administration under supervision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospitals (including ICU, trauma centers), nursing homes, or home health settings.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS).
- Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for patient safety.
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges, including those requiring hospice or palliative care.
- Strong communication skills coupled with compassionate caregiving abilities; experience in geriatrics, pediatrics, or behavioral health is advantageous.
- Background check required.
