Responsibilities
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, and fertilization to ensure lush, healthy grass and plants
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment such as excavators and snow plows safely and efficiently
- Maintain landscape features including hardscapes, gardens, trees, and shrubs through pruning, trimming, and planting
- Assist with irrigation system installation and repairs to promote optimal watering practices
- Conduct landscape maintenance tasks like aeration, overseeding, and soil conditioning to enhance plant health
- Support construction projects involving landscape installation or hardscape features with precision and attention to detail
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations and report any equipment issues or hazards promptly
Skills
- Mechanical knowledge of landscaping equipment and hand tools for troubleshooting and maintenance
- Strong lawn care skills including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control
- Experience with landscape maintenance techniques such as pruning, tree care, and gardening practices
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in various outdoor conditions
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth and landscape design
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and repair processes
- Ability to perform snow plowing during winter months with proper safety precautions in place
