About the Role
Lango is seeking bilingual individuals in Maine to provide in-person interpreting services across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, legal offices, and social service organizations. Interpreters play a vital role in bridging communication gaps and supporting multicultural communities throughout the state.

Requirements
- Fluency in English and at least one additional language
- Ability to pass a language proficiency test if interpreter credentials are not available
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (I-9 compliant)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
- For medical assignments: ability to provide MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, TB test, and Flu vaccination records
- Primarily available for in-person appointments
- Professional interpreting experience preferred but not required
