We are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. Duties
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware and software issues across various platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
- Manage computer systems and networks, including LAN and VPN configurations.
- Assist with desktop support tasks, including setup and maintenance of mobile devices.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components such as firewalls, DNS, and TCP/IP settings.
- Utilize tools like SCCM for software deployment and management.
- Support Active Directory for user account management and permissions.
- Document issues and resolutions using help desk software such as BMC Remedy or ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with team members on network administration tasks and system upgrades.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements.
Skills
- Proficient in technical support and troubleshooting across various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Strong knowledge of computer management, networking principles (TCP/IP), and firewall configurations.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with remote access technologies such as VPNs.
- Understanding of network administration concepts including LAN setups.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively assist users with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Ability to work with analysis tools to diagnose problems efficiently.
- Experience using ticketing systems like Jira for issue tracking is a plus.
