Duties
- Thoroughly clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments using approved methods and equipment
- Manage inventory of sterilization supplies, ensuring all materials are stocked and properly stored
- Prepare instrument trays according to procedural requirements, maintaining accuracy and efficiency
- Document sterilization cycles, equipment maintenance, and inventory levels meticulously
- Follow strict aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols at all times
- Assist with the organization of treatment areas to promote a smooth workflow
- Maintain detailed records of sterilization processes, ensuring compliance with health regulations
Requirements
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures and infection control standards in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology relevant to dental procedures
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and proper handling of dental instruments
- Experience with inventory management systems for tracking supplies and equipment
