We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Dental Lab Processor to join our dynamic dental team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and process dental impressions, models, and prosthetic devices with precision using CAD/CAM technology and other lab equipment.
- Assist in the fabrication of crowns, bridges, dentures, and other dental appliances following detailed specifications.
- Maintain strict infection control and aseptic techniques during all laboratory procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Utilize medical imaging tools and medical documentation systems such as EMR and Epic to record lab activities accurately.
- Collaborate with dental assistants and clinicians to interpret dental terminology, patient assessments, and treatment plans.
- Ensure laboratory equipment such as micrometers and other measurement tools are calibrated and used correctly for precise fabrication.
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient records and medical documentation related to lab work.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace following infection control protocols, including proper sterilization procedures.
- Support pediatric cases by understanding specific requirements related to pediatrics in dental fabrication processes.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental fabrication techniques and laboratory experience.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems, Epic EMR systems, and other medical records management platforms.
- Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques within a clinical setting.
- Ability to interpret medical imaging results and perform patient assessments when necessary.
- Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers for accurate lab work.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations concerning medical records and patient privacy.
- Experience in dental assisting or chairside assisting is a plus for understanding clinical workflows.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards for all lab processes.
