Entry-Level Tax Assistant (Full-Time Tax Season; Part-Time Off-Season)

Are you looking to start a career in the tax industry? We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Tax Professional. This is an excellent opportunity to receive comprehensive training from the ground up, as you will be trained through every aspect of tax preparation and client support. Whether you have experience or you are completely new to the field, we’ll provide all the guidance you need to take care of our clients and feel like you're helping them. You'll start at the Front Desk learning how to take care of the clients, then learn tax preparation in time to work the front desk and help with taxes during Tax Season of 2027.

This job requires detail oriented attention, to be paid to every thing you do. We are a busy firm, hoping to add someone that works hard and fits into our high ethical standards.

If you have no previous tax preparation experience, you will start with Data Entry work. Typing speed is a must for this position.

This is a part-time position currently. 9 hours currently, per week with training during those hours at the office. Next Season hours will depend on your accuracy and speed. The more accurate and quick you are, the more hours you will be offered next season.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an office administrative role (secretary, office assistant, etc.).
• Familiarity with tax terminology or basic bookkeeping.

Required Qualifications:

• Above average typing speed.
• Above average reading comprehension.
• Must be coachable.
• Must enjoy learning and expanding on knowledge.
