Affirmed Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide nursing care for a school case in West Milford, New Jersey. As an RN on this case, you'll deliver one-on-one care in a school setting, ensuring the safety and well-being of your client throughout the school day. This is an ideal role for nurses looking to work daytime hours only (8:30 AM – 2:00 PM) on a flexible per diem basis.

Pay:
$45 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to a pediatric client in a school setting
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for side effects
Track and document vital signs, behaviors, and interventions
Support activities of daily living and respond to emergency needs
Communicate clearly with school staff, family members, and the care team
Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation
Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey (Required)
CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Previous experience with pediatric care, is strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and follow detailed care plans
Comfortable working in pet-friendly environments if applicable
Must have reliable transportation
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with G-tubes, ostomy care, and other complex medical needs
Proficiency with basic technology (e.g., Microsoft Word, Outlook, mobile apps)
Experience in home care or school nursing is a plus
