Part-Time Behavioral Health Professional (BHP)

Starting Pay range is $21- $23/hr. depending on education and experience.

Sign-on incentive of up to $1000! $500 after 90 days of employment, and an additional $500 after one year of employment.

Provide support to a 16 yr. old female Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 2:30 pm-6:30 pm.

Affinity's BHPs provide in-home and community support to children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. BHPs work one-on-one and, in a group setting, with the individual(s) on challenging behaviors, social skills, personal care, daily living skills, and community integration.

Affinity's range of pay based on the actual current employees for the BHP position is $18-$26/hr.

Job Requirements:

• Good driving record and reliable transportation with valid inspection/registration.
• Vehicle insurance liability requirements of $100,000/$300,000.
• GPS Monitoring in your vehicle (includes roadside assistance).
• Ability to complete BHP training within one year from the hire date.
• Positive attitude.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to complete online documentation using several computer applications and systems. This will require the use of a smartphone and GPS enabling.
• Organized.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Education Requirements:

• Over age 18 with a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preference is given to those applicants with BHP certification or experience working with children.
