Are you looking for a flexible position based in Overland Park? A small, family-owned company is looking to hire a new G/L professional to main everything financially. For those that like the idea of reporting directly to company ownership, there's a lot to like on this one.
There will be a strong in office component (at least for a while), but this will be a very flexible role for a dependable professional.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for assigned client accounts
- Reconcile bank and investment accounts
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and assist with collections/delinquency reporting
- Record journal entries and maintain the GL
- Assist with budget preparation and support year-end audits and tax return preparation
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in G/L Accounting
- Accounting/Finance degree preferred
- Accounting software experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
