Position Summary
The Supported Employment Coordinator provides leadership and operational
oversight for Affinity Ranch’s Supported Employment Program, serving individuals
with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This role ensures high-quality,
person-centered job coaching, compliance with Medicaid documentation and billing
requirements, and meaningful employment outcomes for participants.
This position will begin as part-time, with the expectation of growth into a full-time role as the department continues to expand.
The Coordinator supervises Job Coaches, develops individualized job descriptions
and pre-vocational curriculum, manages Medicaid billing processes (training
provided), and maintains strong partnerships with community employers. This
position plays a critical role in advancing Affinity Ranch’s mission to foster
confidence, skill development, and belonging through inclusive vocational
opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Oversight
● Supervise and support all Supported Employment Job Coaches.
● Provide direct job coaching coverage when needed.
● Ensure consistent, high-quality, person-centered service delivery.
● Lead regular team meetings and training.
● Support performance management and professional development of job
coaches.
Individualized Employment Planning
● Develop customized job descriptions for supported employees based on
strengths, goals, and employer needs.
● Create and implement curriculum for:
○ Job development participants
○ Pre-vocational training participants
● Ensure employment placements align with participant goals and skill
development plans.
Medicaid Compliance & Billing
● Ensure all job coaching documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely
manner.
● Review notes for compliance with Medicaid guidelines.
● Manage Medicaid billing for the Supported Employment department (training
provided).
● Maintain organized records and ensure audit readiness.
● Stay current on regulatory updates and implement necessary procedural
adjustments.
Hiring & Screening
● Screen, interview, and assess new applicants for supported employment
services.
● Determine appropriate level of support and program readiness.
● Collaborate with families, case managers, and providers as needed.
Administrative & Reporting
● Track participant outcomes and progress metrics.
● Maintain departmental data.
● Provide regular updates to the Executive Director.
● Assist with grant reporting and program data as needed.
Qualifications
Required
● Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental
disabilities (IDD).
● Strong organizational and time-management skills.
● Detail-oriented with high documentation accuracy.
● Demonstrated leadership ability and decision-making skills.
● Strong written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to balance compassion with accountability.
Preferred
● ACRE (Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators) Certification
strongly preferred.
● Experience with Medicaid-funded services.
● Experience with billing systems or case management software.
● Prior supervisory experience.
● Equine and or small animal care.

This position requires a combination of office-based, ranch-based, and community
job-site responsibilities. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable

● Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

● Ability to communicate effectively in person and via phone or electronic
communication.
Compensation & Benefits
This position will begin as part-time and is expected to grow into a full-time role as
the Supported Employment program expands.

Salary : $20 - $22
