- Assess and treat patients with communication, swallowing, and related disorders.
- Design and implement personalized therapy plans to restore and improve speech and communication skills.
- Collaborate with patients and caregivers to promote independence and effective communication.
- Address the whole patient, tailoring interventions to individual needs across various settings.
- Engage in team collaboration, make referrals as needed, and educate patients and caregivers.
- Maintain effective documentation and ensure the delivery of efficient rehab services.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, accredited by ASHA.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligible for it.
- State licensure or credentials required in the practice location.
- Strong interpersonal, adaptable, and team-oriented skills, with a passion for helping others.
