Qualifications & Skills
- 2-5 years of critical care nursing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing (if only an Associate Degree, must obtain a Bachelor’s within five years)
- Current Illinois RN licensure
- CPR certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- ACLS certification within six months of hire
- Strong critical thinking and teamwork skills
- Assess patient conditions and recognize changes
- Plan, evaluate, and monitor patient care
- Delegate tasks to staff members
- Collaborate effectively within the healthcare team
