The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans. Utilizing technology, evidence-based practices, and therapeutic interventions, the RN collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure quality care that meets regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and address patients' physical and psychological needs.
- Develop and modify individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and families.
- Supervise care provided by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
- Follow hospital policies, regulatory guidelines, and documentation standards.
- Utilize advanced lifts and mobility devices for patient transfers.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current RN license.
- BSN degree required within four years unless extensive RN experience exempts this.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS as appropriate.
- Manual dexterity, strong communication skills, and ability to operate medical and computer equipment.
- Night shift, full-time, with shift differentials for evenings, nights, and weekends.
