Physical Therapy Assistant - Sign-On Bonus

Role Overview: The Physical Therapist Assistant provides patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to enhance well-being within the established care plan. They follow state laws, perform qualified procedures, and recommend changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

• Instructs patients in active/passive exercises, gait, ADLs, transfer, safety, and prosthetic training.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team.
• Coordinates care with team members and educates patients, families, and caregivers within scope of practice.
• Functions effectively in diverse home settings, respecting patient diversity.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Current license, registration, or certification to practice physical therapy.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to transportation.
• Availability for weekend rotations.
• Preferred: CPR certification and ability to perform physical tasks like lifting and transfers.
