Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview

Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions under a physician’s plan of care in a home health setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, communicate updates, and ensure patient safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy according to therapist and physician instructions.
• Update patients and caregivers on the care plan and treatment progress.
• Perform treatments and procedures to promote pain relief and functional recovery.
• Observe, document, and report patient conditions and responses to treatments.
• Educate patients and caregivers on device use and rehabilitation techniques.
• Coordinate with team members to discuss and adjust patient care plans.
• Plan and communicate discharge instructions and post-treatment care.
• Maintain documentation, records, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with standards.
• Participate in in-service training and adhere to professional conduct.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state license.
• Valid CPR certification.
