- Perform MRI procedures proficiently, ensuring proper positioning, protocol adherence, and timely imaging for radiologist review.
- Identify patients accurately, review safety questionnaires, and coordinate sedation as needed.
- Prepare and maintain the scan environment, including cleaning, supply management, and contrast administration within scope of practice.
- Implement emergency procedures and accurately record data electronically.
- Ensure quality control of equipment and procedures, stay updated on departmental changes, and provide clinical instruction to staff and students.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or equivalent experience; ARRT or ARMRIT certification in Radiology & MRI or MRI alone; BLS certification.
- Proficient in computer use, data entry, and basic mathematics.
- Excellent communication and safety screening abilities.
