Clinical Documentation Integrity Supervisor - Full-Time

Role Overview: The Supervisor of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) provides first-line supervision to the CDI team, demonstrating leadership, problem-solving skills, and advanced CDI knowledge. They play a key role in planning, developing, and implementing the Clinical Documentation Management Program to support departmental goals and achieve clinical and operational excellence in documentation improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor CDI team members
• Participate in program development and implementation
• Support quality improvement projects within CDI
• Contribute to departmental success by fostering collaboration and efficiency
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of CDI experience and involvement in CDI quality improvement projects
• Experience in training is preferred
• Valid RN license in the state or international medical graduate status
• Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist (CCDS) or Documentation Improvement Practitioner (CDIP) is a plus
