Adult Care Worker

Role Overview: An Adult Residential Support Professional provides direct care in a residential treatment setting for adult males, supporting recovery through supervision, encouragement, and life-skills coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and support residents, ensuring a safe, structured environment
• Serve as a positive role model and provide daily encouragement
• Document observations and maintain accurate records
• Assist with treatment plan implementation and resident goals
• Support medication monitoring and administration
• Help with housekeeping, laundry, meals, and daily living activities
• Transport residents to appointments and community activities
• Facilitate educational and life-skills activities
• Respond to emergencies and uphold safety protocols
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, substance use treatment, or residential care preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
