What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hospice Volunteer position at Affinity Health Management?
Continuum Care Hospice is always looking for compassionate, dedicated volunteers to join our team. We currently have opportunities for companionship, respite care, pet therapy, hairdessers, and more in the Marysville area.
If you enjoy spending time with others, we would love to match you with a patient who could benefit from your presence. Volunteers often chat and reminisce with patients, offer a comforting hand to hold, or simply listen as someone shares their story. You can also play games, read together, create art, or enjoy other meaningful activities!
Companionship volunteers typically visit their patients once a week or once every other week, whatever works best for both the patient’s needs and the volunteer’s schedule. It’s a very flexible commitment!
