The Executive Chef is a full-time, on-site role located at Lakeside Hotel & Casino in Osceola, IA. This role oversees all culinary operations, including menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation for restaurants, banquets, and special events. Responsibilities include managing kitchen staff, scheduling, training, and performance oversight to ensure consistent food quality and adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
The Executive Chef monitors inventory, controls food and labor costs, coordinates with suppliers, and works closely with management to support revenue and guest satisfaction goals. The role also involves maintaining kitchen equipment, ensuring compliance with health regulations, and continuously improving menus and presentation to enhance the overall dining experience.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in culinary arts, menu development, and recipe creation, with experience in high-volume or multi-outlet operations.
