- Capital District Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons - 7 Southwoods Blvd, Ste 1, Albany, NY 12211
- Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM
Your Role & Responsibilities
Front Desk Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and create a welcoming environment
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
- Answer and direct calls, process payments, and verify insurance benefits
- Maintain patient records with accuracy and compliance
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry and correspondence
Chairside Assistance (Training Provided):
- Support sterilization and organization of instruments and materials
- Assist providers with chairside procedures when needed
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and best practices
- Work closely with the surgical team to optimize workflow and patient experience
Qualifications We Look For:
- Previous dental assisting experience (required) – formal DA training is preferred
- Previous front desk experience in a dental or oral surgery office (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Professional, friendly demeanor with a patient-first attitude
- Current CPR/AED or BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
