Lead Care Coordinator / Office Manager / Administration — Home Care

We are seeking an experienced care coordinator to help oversee day-to-day operations and lead case coordination for our new Tampa and Largo locations. This role is central to ensuring high-quality client care, regulatory compliance, and seamless coordination of services. You would be joining a Nurse Registry with proven systems and an experienced support team behind you.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day client care, including staffing, scheduling, compliance, and coordination for the Tampa and Largo offices
• Manage intake and referrals from health plan case managers, hospital discharge planners, assisted living communities, and families
• Coordinate authorizations, service documentation, and communication with Medicaid long-term care plans and private-pay clients
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing home care services, including AHCA requirements for nurse registries
• Ensure adequate staffing and maintain complete and accurate caregiver registration files — background screening, licensure and certification verification, health documentation, and required annual training
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clients, and their families to develop individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care services and make adjustments as necessary
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in home care, home health, or a nurse registry setting
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and scheduling or EHR software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Eligibility for Level 2 background screening clearance
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation; the Tampa and Largo offices are approximately 25 minutes apart
• Compassionate and empathetic demeanor, with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality care
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
