Title: Team Lead/Project Manager – Structures (Bridge)
Exempt Status: Exempt
Position Status: Full-time

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
· Perform professional engineering work assignments involving the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out routine engineering tasks in order to fulfill project demands and client expectations.
· Provide component design of complex projects and direct project designs for less complex projects
· Prepare specifications for project bids
· Assist with quality reviews and review own work
· Prepare permit applications according to code and regulatory requirements
· Prepare opinions of probable cost according to bid data
· Assist in development of scope and budget schedules as requested
· Performs project management skills and uses technology tools to do so
· Creates a positive, credible impression of Affinis during interactions with clients, assuring adherence to Affinis’ Purpose, Vision and Values.
· Assist with proposal and presentation preparations according to client expectations
· Respond to customer needs and expectations
· Participate in assessment of technical qualifications of new recruits as required
Qualifications, Education & Experience
· BS in Civil Engineering from accredited university
· Professional licensed Engineer
· Familiarity with Risa, AASHTOWare, AutoCad, MicroStation, and MS Office suite preferred
· 10 or more years of experience in bridge and structures design
· Experience with most of the following types of projects: bridges, retaining walls, pump stations, relief wells, levees, dams, junction boxes, culverts
· Experience with DOT standards preferred
· Project management experience requried
· Previous expereince with a consulting firm is beneficial
Work Requirements
· Monday through Friday.
· Flexible working hours
· This position could require additional work outside of regular hours as necessary to fulfill the requirements of the position.
