The Crane Service Technician will provide quality installation, inspections, maintenance, and repair service for hoist and crane equipment while upholding the highest level of professional integrity and ethics, which is required to instill customer confidence and ensure continued service success.
Key Responsibilities
- Service overhead crane systems and hoists by performing quality installations.
- Perform OSHA equivalent inspections; document and complete warranty work; troubleshoot breakdowns.
- Perform preventive maintenance; and respond to emergency service/breakdown calls.
- Support customers by effectively interfacing with customer and office in repairing equipment as needed.
- Perform electrical and /or mechanical adjustments or repairs with or without engineered drawings.
- Experience: 2 years’ experience troubleshooting cranes and hoist equipment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3-phase motors, VFDs, contactors, circuits, and knowledge of OSHA equivalent inspections
- Familiarity with Work Environment: Ability to work at height, in extreme temperatures, clean driving record, valid driver’s license, and meet physical demand of the role
- Attention to Quality: Customer-facing approach, attention to details, organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively

- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Owns hand tools and meter
- Comfortable with physical demands
- Ability to work independently
- Results-driven with professional communication skills
- Compensation: $22-29/hour (1-2 years), $30-37/hour (2-5 years), $38 /hour (5 years)
