We are seeking a Food Safety Clerk.
REQUIREMENTS: High school graduate and/or higher education. Position will assist the Food Safety Manager in all aspects of Food Safety, including but not limited to, collecting, filing, and maintaining all audits, assisting and conducting inspections and following up on status of recommendations, assisting and training employees in Food Safety and quality requirements, and updating procedures and documents as needed to stay in compliance. Knowledge of General Safety Principles/Food Safety, GMP, HACCP a plus. Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Spreadsheets, etc. (AS400 a plus). Extensive data entry and ten-key by touch with accuracy. Must have excellent telephone, written and oral communication, customer service and organizational skills. Must work efficiently to complete all assignments in order to meet deadlines. Must be able to speak in public and conduct annual new hire trainings regarding Food Safety. Must be self-motivated, meticulous and multi-task oriented. Must be able to make decisions when dealing with retailers and/or all levels of management while maintaining strict confidentiality. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Bilingual is a plus.

Pay: $16.92 - $21.91 per hour
