Position Overview
Afficionado Coffee Roasters is seeking a motivated, results-driven New Jersey Sales Manager to expand our footprint throughout the region.
This is an on-site, field-based position reporting to our New Jersey headquarters, with regular travel throughout the assigned territory. The territory spans from Philadelphia to New York City, with the primary focus centered on New Jersey growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new sales leads, building strong client relationships, collaborating closely with our current sales team, and developing a deep understanding of our full product line and service capabilities.
This role will focus on driving growth across hospitality and corporate accounts, including coffee shops, hotels, restaurants, and office coffee service clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new sales leads
- Prospect and build relationships with hospitality groups, corporate clients, coffee shops, hotels, and restaurants
- Work closely with the current sales team to build pipeline and close new business
- Build and maintain a strong understanding of our full coffee, equipment, and service offerings
- Identify opportunities for long-term account growth and partnership development
- Collaborate with operations, service, and client success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing support
- Represent the Afficionado brand professionally in the field and at industry events
- Maintain accurate sales activity, pipeline, and account updates
- Meet and exceed territory sales goals
Qualifications
- 5 years of sales, business development, or account management experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage, specialty coffee, or the CPG (consumer packaged goods) sector is required
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing new business
- Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, field-based sales environment
- This is a field-based, on-site role that requires regular reporting to our New Jersey headquarters
- Frequent travel throughout New Jersey, Philadelphia, and New York City is required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Additional bonus and commission opportunities may be available based on performance.
Pay: $64,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
