Our DVMs practice at the highest level of their training and education and demonstrate proven qualifications and proficiency in the following areas:

• Maintaining active New York DVM licensure and DEA credentials
• Practicing within AAFP Cat Friendly and/or Fear Free certified standards
• Demonstrating strong expertise in feline anatomy, physiology, and internal medicine
• Providing comprehensive preventive, critical, and emergency care
• Performing soft tissue and dental surgical procedures with confidence
• Utilizing ultrasound as part of diagnostic evaluation and treatment planning
• Administering anesthesia, including catheter placement and venipuncture
• Conducting and interpreting laboratory diagnostics and radiographic imaging
• Navigating practice management software with proficiency
• Maintaining compliance with DEA and OSHA regulations
• Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients
• Supporting a strong average client transaction (ACT) while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented culture

Just Cats is located in the town of Guilderland, offering the perfect blend of small-town charm and vibrant suburban living. The area is home to some of Albany County’s top attractions, including the Albany Pine Bush Preserve and the Capital Region’s largest shopping mall, or enjoy visiting historic towns, exploring local breweries, or joining in seasonal farm activities.

We realize time outside of work is also important and we strive to provide you with a quality balance. Just Cats is open Monday through Friday with no weekend hours, helping reduce burnout. Our hours are Mon. 7:45 AM–6:00 PM, Tues. and Wed. 7:45 AM–7:00 PM, Thurs. 7:45 AM–5:00 PM, and Fri. 7:45 AM–5:00 PM. In addition to schedule flexibility, we also offer:
