Overview
Are you a passionate wound care specialist looking for a rewarding side hustle to earn extra cash? We are seeking a part-time Wound Care Nurse Practitioner/physician assistant to manage a flexible, regional route. You will travel to local facilities and private residences to provide advanced wound care, enjoying total autonomy over your schedule and the freedom to work around your primary job.
You will provide expert care, create care plans, and help prevent new skin problems. . This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your advanced clinical skills, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.
Duties
- Travel to designated long-term care facilities, and patient homes on your scheduled days.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic wounds on-site.
- Perform mobile clinical procedures including sharp debridement and advanced dressing changes.
- Adjust care plans dynamically based on the home or facility environment.
- Coordinate care closely with home health agencies, facility staff, and primary physicians.
- Maintain accurate, real-time electronic documentation from the field
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Active, unrestricted state NP license
- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner state license.
- Wound Care Certification (CWCN, WOCNCB, or CWS) highly preferred.
- Full Practice Autority.
- Minimum of 1 to 2 years of clinical experience working as a Nurse Practitioner/physician assistant.
- Strong skills in patient care and communication.
- Ability to work independently on the road.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.
- Able to see 10-15 patients a weekbased on your availability.
