Video Content Producer

Afdent® is looking for a creative, outgoing Video Content Producer to help us tell the stories that happen inside our offices every day.

For decades, Afdent has built its reputation around providing an exceptional, patient-friendly dental experience. We’re looking for someone who can capture that experience authentically and turn it into engaging video content for social media and digital platforms.

This is much more than a traditional videography position.

We want someone who enjoys being around people, is comfortable starting conversations, recognizes a great story when they see one, and knows how to turn real moments into compelling content.

Your primary responsibility will be developing and producing social media video content that showcases the people, personalities and patient experiences that make Afdent different.

You'll spend approximately two days each week inside our Afdent offices, capturing content and interacting with patients and team members, and approximately two days each week

editing and producing content from an editing workstation or remotely.

You'll also help identify new content opportunities rather than simply waiting for assignments.

We want someone who sees an interesting patient story, team member or moment and thinks,

The Person We're Looking For

The right person is equal parts content creator, videographer and people person.

You should be comfortable walking into a busy dental office, introducing yourself to patients and team members, and creating an environment where people feel relaxed and natural on camera.

That means personality matters.

We're looking for someone who is:

• Able to build rapport quickly
• Professional and respectful in a healthcare environment
• Creative and naturally curious
• Comfortable directing people who aren't professional actors
• Able to recognize authentic, emotional or interesting moments
• Selfmotivated and capable of developing content ideas independently
• Organized enough to manage multiple shoots and projects simultaneously
Video & Content SkillsYou should have experience with most of the following:
• Professional or prosumer video cameras
• Lighting and audio
• Interviewstyle videography
• Video editing
• Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or comparable editing software
• Vertical and shortform social video
• Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and emerging social formats
• Basic color correction and audio cleanup
• Creating captions, graphics and other socialvideo elements

Photography and motion graphics experience are a plus.

We're less concerned about a specific degree than we are about your portfolio, creativity, storytelling ability and personality.

Work Structure

This position is designed around approximately four days per week:

2 days — On Location

Working inside Afdent offices capturing patient, team and brand content.

2 days — Production / Editing

Editing, organizing and producing finished content. These days may offer remote-work flexibility.

Occasional additional filming may be needed for special events, campaigns or other projects.
