What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer position at AFCO MFG?
Manufacturing company in Holly, Mi. Is hiring for General Laborer on first shift (7am-3:30pm) in our manufacturing department.
This position requires the individual to have the ability to stand for 8 hours and repetitively pick up, lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a very fast paced Fabrication/Manufacturing environment, this position is physically demanding.
To be considered for this position applicant must be HIGHLY proficient in ALL of the following areas: Reading a Tape Measure, Strong Math Skills, Ability to stay on task, Working knowledge of Fabrication tools and equipment.
MUST have at minimum 3 years of Forklift experience in an industrial setting, preference given to applicants that have experience with structural steel.
MUST have Dependable transportation, Reliable to be to work on time daily and able to work overtime as needed.
