About us
AFC Finishing systems is a sheet metal manufacturing company specializing in paint booth fabrication. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 6-4:30. Breakfast and Lunch is provided as well as health insurance and a generous 25% profit sharing paid out every December. Must be able to work independently and stay busy with limited supervision. Tasks include operating sheet metal manufacturing equipment such as Press brake, Shears, Hand tools, welding, and other manual labor tasks. Stable work history and mechanical/manufacturing ability preferred. Travel install and remote assignments recieve $5/hr bonus for on site installation travel. No more than 2 weeks travel at a time and total travel time not to exceed 25% of the year.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble products according to specifications and quality standards
-Willing to Travel up to two weeks at a time and no more than 25% of the year at a $5/hr premium bonus during installation periods.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to move materials and products
- Fabricate components using sheet metal and welding equipment
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Proficient in using power tools and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
