What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Counselor position at AFC Counselors?
We are seeking a Mental Health Counselor to join our team! Work at a private practice setting to provide services for a variety of mental health conditions. Mostly individual counseling sessions with opportunities to offer family or couples counseling. Looking for either part/full time.
Responsibilities:
- Establish open lines of communication for individuals with mental or emotional issues
- Provide prevention-oriented therapy
- Implement and review treatment plans
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling or other related fields
- Familiarity with community mental health resources
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Master’s level LPC or equivalent
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
