AFANDI Diamonds & Designs is a growing luxury jewelry company specializing in fine jewelry, engagement rings, custom jewelry, repairs, restoration, and personalized service.

Our goal is not simply to sell jewelry. We help customers celebrate engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, achievements, and some of the most meaningful moments of their lives.

We are looking for a motivated, personable, and professional Fine Jewelry Sales Representative who enjoys working with people, building relationships, and creating an exceptional customer experience.

Role Description

As a Fine Jewelry Sales Representative, you will be one of the first people customers interact with when they enter AFANDI.

You will help customers select jewelry, educate them about their options, assist with custom jewelry and repair inquiries, follow up with potential customers, and build long-term client relationships.

This is an active sales position. We are looking for someone who is comfortable approaching customers, asking questions, making recommendations, following up, and working toward sales goals.

ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Experience

• Greet and assist customers professionally
• Identify each customer's needs, preferences, occasion, and budget
• Present jewelry and make appropriate recommendations
• Educate customers about diamonds, gemstones, metals, jewelry, and available options
• Assist customers with engagement rings, wedding bands, fine jewelry, gifts, and other purchases
• Introduce customers to custom jewelry options when appropriate
• Build trust without creating a high-pressure sales environment
• Work toward individual and company sales goals

Client Relationships & Follow-Up

• Build long-term relationships with customers
• Collect and maintain accurate customer information
• Follow up with customers after store visits
• Follow up on potential sales and unanswered quotes
• Contact existing customers regarding new merchandise and relevant opportunities
• Maintain relationships after the sale
• Help turn first-time customers into long-term AFANDI clients

Custom Jewelry & Repairs

• Listen carefully to customers' custom jewelry ideas
• Gather accurate information before transferring projects to the appropriate team member
• Assist customers with jewelry repair and service inquiries
• Clearly document customer requests and expectations
• Communicate effectively with project management, jewelers, and designers
• Help ensure customers receive accurate information regarding their projects

Store Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized showcases
• Keep jewelry properly displayed and presented
• Learn current inventory and new merchandise
• Assist with inventory counts and merchandise organization when needed
• Follow company procedures for handling jewelry and customer property
• Maintain a professional appearance and work environment
• Participate in training, sales meetings, and product education

• Sales or customer service experience preferred
• Fine jewelry or luxury retail experience is a plus, but not required
• Professional appearance and attitude

• Comfortable learning about diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry
• Ability to learn new technology and company systems
• Organized and dependable
