Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a home environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare and be dedicated to ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children in their care. This role involves engaging and teaching children through play, educational activities, and daily routines while also assisting with meal preparation and maintaining a clean environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage with children in a safe and stimulating environment.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers, and older children as needed. Children are 2,4 and 5.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children.
- Maintain cleanliness in play areas and assist with light housekeeping related to childcare.
- Ensure children's safety at all times, including first aid when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding daily activities, behaviors, and any concerns.
- Assist with nap routines, including reading stories or providing comfort as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in childcare, babysitting, or nannying is preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles and practices.
- Ability to prepare healthy meals suitable for children.
- Experience caring for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain a clean environment.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate family needs.
