Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and debris removal following fire or water damage incidents to prepare sites for restoration.
- Execute fire restoration processes, including soot and smoke odor removal, structural cleaning, and content cleaning.
- Conduct water damage restoration tasks such as water extraction, drying, dehumidification, and mold remediation to prevent further damage.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to dismantle damaged structures and prepare surfaces for repairs.
- Assist with mold remediation efforts by identifying mold growth, setting up containment areas, and applying appropriate treatments.
- Support asbestos abatement procedures when necessary, following strict safety protocols to ensure environmental safety.
- Aid in construction-related tasks like minor repairs, drywall installation, flooring replacement, and carpet cleaning to restore properties to their original condition.
Skills
- Proven experience in the restoration industry or related construction fields is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to fire, water, mold, and asbestos-related damages.
- Skilled in operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with carpet cleaning methods and equipment used in restoration projects.
