Role Overview
The Marketing Assistant supports the marketing team's day-to-day operations, keeping events, photoshoots, and office logistics running smoothly behind the scenes, while also assisting with digital marketing efforts like paid ads and other online initiatives. This person will work closely with the Brand & Production Manager, providing hands-on support across photoshoot and event preparation and execution. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role — ideal for someone early in their career who wants exposure to brand marketing, digital marketing, event production, and photoshoot operations at a fast-moving apparel company. The right person is organized, proactive, and comfortable juggling a wide range of tasks in a single day.
Scope of Work
Order Management & Gifting
• Manage NetSuite orders for PR/marketing gifting, employee allowances, and reference pieces
• Pack and ship VIP and PR gifts
Inventory & Office Operations
• Coordinate clothing allocation and store order requests
• Manage office and kitchen supply stock (Amazon, Staples, etc.)
Finance & Vendor Coordination
• Collect, upload, and reconcile company card receipts across team members
• Submit and track invoices for post-shoot and post-event vendor and crew payments
Meetings & Project Management
• Manage calendars and coordinate town hall meetings, including agendas and recaps
• Maintain day-to-day Asana task updates and check in on cross-department deadlines
Photoshoot & Event Support
• Support the Brand & Production Manager across photoshoot and event preparation and execution
• Pack for photoshoots, build racks, and organize samples on shoot days
• Source and purchase props and accessories for shoots, including store runs and returns
• Book travel and accommodations for crew, talent, and events
Digital Marketing Support
• Assist the Marketing Director with paid digital advertising — campaign setup, asset coordination, and performance tracking
• Support email, social, and other digital marketing initiatives as needed
• Help organize and maintain digital assets across marketing channels
• Research new marketing avenues, partnership opportunities, and relevant contacts
What We're Looking For
• Degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience in marketing, production, events, photoshoots, or office administration
• Interest or experience in digital marketing — paid ads, social, or email a plus
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, Calendar) required
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a single day
• Clear, proactive communicator who works well across teams
• Experience with Asana a plus
• Strong passion for the outdoors and the gear that supports adventure a plus
