The Aesthetx Nurse Injector is a highly skilled aesthetic clinician delivering best-in-class injectable treatments in a high-volume, surgeon-led environment.
This is not an entry-level role. We are seeking a PA, NP, or RN with 3 years of hands-on aesthetic experience who brings both technical precision and strong clinical judgment.
You’ll work alongside board-certified plastic surgeons and dermatologists, contributing to a standard of excellence across every consultation, treatment, and patient interaction.

- Perform neurotoxin injections (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, Daxxify) with consistent, natural results
- Administer dermal fillers (HA, biostimulators, and other FDA-approved products)
- Perform advanced treatments including lip augmentation, tear trough, jawline/chin contouring, and midface volumization
- Administer PRF/PRP, Sculptra, Radiesse, Kybella, and other advanced injectables (as credentialed)
- Stay current on evolving techniques and products in partnership with Medical Director
- Exercise sound judgment in identifying contraindications and declining treatment when appropriate
- Conduct comprehensive aesthetic consultations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Set clear, realistic expectations focused on natural, proportionate outcomes
- Capture consistent, high-quality pre/post treatment photography
- Educate patients on treatment plans, downtime, and aftercare
- Partner with surgeons for appropriate referrals when surgical care is indicated
- Build long-term patient relationships through follow-up and evolving care plans
- Maintain deep expertise in facial and vascular anatomy
- Recognize and manage complications (vascular occlusion, hypersensitivity, etc.)
- Ensure emergency protocols and supplies (e.g., hyaluronidase) are readily available
- Document all complications same day and escalate to Medical Director within 24 hours
- Participate in clinical safety reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain active BLS/CPR certification
- Create a warm, professional, and reassuring treatment environment
- Follow up with patients within 48 hours post-treatment
- Address concerns with transparency and ownership
- Drive patient retention through outcomes and relationship-building
- Complete all charting in Nextech EMR same day
- Obtain and document informed consent for all treatments
- Adhere strictly to Aesthetx clinical protocols
- Maintain HIPAA compliance across all interactions
- Keep all licensure and certifications current
- Surgical procedures
- Independent protocol changes without Medical Director approval
- Billing/financial discussions with patients
- Marketing content or testimonial use without approval
- HR/personnel decisions
- Reports to: Practice Manager / Medical Director
- Works closely with: Surgeons, MAs, front desk, and clinical leadership
- Participates in weekly clinical huddles and ongoing performance conversations
- Active California license: PA-C, NP (FNP/AGNP), or RN with injector certification
- Minimum 3 years of aesthetic injector experience (required)
- Demonstrated expertise in neurotoxins and dermal fillers
- Strong knowledge of facial anatomy and complication management
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with Nextech or similar EMR
- Strong patient relationship and communication skills
- 5 years in a high-volume aesthetic or surgical practice
- Advanced anatomy training or cadaver courses
- Experience with Sculptra, Radiesse, PRF/PRP, Kybella
- Exposure to laser/energy-based devices
- Proven patient retention and rebooking success
- Experience working alongside plastic surgeons
- Spanish-speaking a plus
