Modesto, CA | Part-time (Hybrid)
We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Strategist to support our growing brand and help guide our social media presence. This role will work closely with our current content creator to develop engaging ideas, refine messaging, and ensure our content aligns with our brand goals and audience interests.
The ideal candidate understands social media trends and digital marketing strategies, and can help turn creative ideas into content that drives engagement and growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop content strategies and monthly content plans aligned with business goals
- Brainstorm creative post, reel, and campaign ideas for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
- Provide direction and guidance to the content creator during planning and production
- Review and edit social media content for clarity, messaging, and brand consistency
- Identify trending topics, formats, and content opportunities within the industry
- Analyze social media performance and recommend improvements based on engagement data
- Ensure messaging is consistent with brand voice and values
- Assist with planning promotional campaigns, launches, and special events
- Help develop educational and promotional content that connects with our audience
- Stay up to date on social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform best practices
- Help translate medical or technical treatment information into engaging, easy-to-understand social media content
Marketing Support
- Assist with marketing initiatives and projects as needed
- Support the development of promotional messaging and campaigns
- Collaborate with the team on marketing ideas, promotions, and brand initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field preferred (relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education)
- 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing
- Experience in content strategy, social media marketing, or digital marketing
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and modern social media trends
- Excellent editing, writing, and storytelling skills
- Ability to translate ideas into clear content direction and strategy
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Experience using social media analytics to guide strategy is a plus
- Experience in beauty, aesthetics, wellness, or healthcare marketing is a bonus
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
