What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oculoplastic surgery scheduler position at Aesthetic Eye Care?
We are seeking a friendly, organized Surgery Scheduler to assist our clinic on the 2nd Friday of each month. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and experience in a medical or aesthetic practice.
You will work directly with patients during clinic to coordinate surgical procedures, review necessary documents, and support the cosmetic and functional surgery workflow.
Responsibilities
- Schedule surgeries and post-operative visits
- Meet with patients during clinic to review and sign surgical consent forms
- Discuss payment options for cosmetic surgeries and assist with financing coordination
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed
- Communicate with the surgeon and clinical team to maintain an efficient surgical schedule
- Provide excellent customer service and support to patients throughout the procesa
Qualifications
- Experience in a medical office, ophthalmology, aesthetic medicine, or surgery scheduling preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable discussing payment options and cosmetic surgery fees
- Professional and compassionate communication style
- Ability to work independently and manage patient flow efficiently
- EMR experience a plus
Schedule
- One day per month: 2nd Friday of each month
- Additional hours possible and likely in the future based on clinic needs
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
