Medical Receptionist Dermatology
-IMMEDIATE OPENING-
Solo dermatology private practice in Cumming, GA specializing in general, pediatric and cosmetic dermatologic treatments from laser therapy to Botox and fillers and everything in between. We are seeking a hardworking, proactive, enthusiastic, efficient, highly professional and friendly, punctual team player with a passion for medicine to join our growing practice and be a part of our exciting future.
- Multitasking a MUST with attention to detail (answer 4 line phone system, check in and check out patients, verifying insurances via online or phone if needed, scheduling, collecting patient balances and copays, maintaining patient records by obtaining, recording, and updating demographic, insurance and financial information at check in, using the electronic medical records, upkeep waiting room cleanliness and décor)
- Excellent data entry, 50 wpm typing skills preferred
- Excellent computer skills with Electronic Medical Records
- Excellent customer service and marketing skills in an office and on phone that provide an excellent patient experience
- Medical Front Desk Receptionist with at least 1 year recent experience working in a physician's office preferred. Dermatology experience a plus
- Medical billing experience a plus
- Must have the ability to work well with others and regularly promoting visibility of practice to community both onsite and offsite, while offering new ideas
- Maintains business office inventory and equipment by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies in advance
- Flexibility to adapt to the ever changing medical environment with changing compliance requirements and quickly adapting to those needs
Must live within 30-45 minutes drive of office (one office location)
Office hours: Position is approximately 20-25 hours per week. Candidate must be able to work during all the hours listed below
- Tuesday 10am - 5pm
- Wednesday 9am - 3pm
- Thursday 10am - 5pm
- Friday 9am - 4pm
