Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing wellness and aesthetics clinic. The ideal candidate is experienced in injectables and passionate about patient care and results.
Responsibilities
- Perform aesthetic procedures including dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and laser therapies with meticulous attention to safety and technique.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine suitability for various cosmetic treatments and develop customized treatment plans.
- Educate clients on procedure options, post-treatment care, and realistic outcomes to ensure satisfaction and safety.
- Maintain detailed medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic standards.
- Manage patient flow efficiently by scheduling appointments, follow-ups, and coordinating with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Ensure all equipment, including esthetic lasers and ultrasound devices, are properly sterilized, calibrated, and maintained.
- Stay current with industry advancements, new treatment modalities, CPT coding updates, and regulatory requirements to enhance service offerings.
Experience
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in aesthetic procedures or advanced training in dermatology or cosmetic nursing.
- Proven experience performing botulinum toxin injections, dermal filler applications, and laser treatments in a clinical setting.
- Strong background in medical office management systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with EMR/EHR systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology, physiology, pharmacology, and CPT coding for billing purposes.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced clinic environment emphasizing patient care quality and safety protocols.
