Job description:
Aesop Auto Parts is seeking a motivated individual for our open parts removal position.
We are a fast growing auto recycler seeking positive attitudes to add to our family culture.
Job Duties:
- Removing parts from vehicles, using hand and power tools.
- Part type examples: Hoods, fenders, doors, radios, seat, dash panels, axles, cabs. Virtually anything from a vehicle!
- Responsibly operate a company provided vehicle to travel on premises
- $17-$21 an hour starting pay based on experience, then moving to production base pay after 6-8 weeks.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
JOB DUTIES TAKE PLACE OUTSIDE
- Must be able to ambulate throughout the facility and salvage yard through out the workday.
- Must be able to continuously work outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions (rain, sun, snow, wind, etc.).
- Must be able to operate equipment and yard vehicles frequently.
- Work in an area equipped with forklifts, chain hoists, and other tools as needed.
- Ability to use both hands regularly with enough dexterity to operate basic hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to lift, move, and carry objects and materials up to 75 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Expected work hours are based on role and location.
- Ability to work occasional overtime as needed as determined by the employee’s supervisor.
Company provided yard truck to carry tools and parts.
Must be 18 years old or older.
Must be able to arrive to shift on time, dependably.
