AESC is looking to add an Energy Storage Solution Engineer to our team in the US.

AESC is expanding its footprint in the United States with gigafactories in Kentucky, South Carolina, and Tennessee to meet the growing demand for EV and BESS batteries and strengthen its presence in the North American market. AESC's Tennessee gigafactory in Smyrna, which has been operational and supplying electric vehicle batteries for the Nissan LEAF since 2012, was retooled in 2025 and now produces batteries for Energy Storage Systems. The South Carolina gigafactory in Florence will supply next generation cells for BMW starting in 2026. About the Role Energy Storage Solutions focus on designing and optimizing energy storage system technical solutions for customers in North America, addressing the pain points of energy storage and application. - Collect and analyze technical requirements for energy storage projects;
- Responsible for technical communication and product promotion of energy storage;
- Follow up on customer needs for energy storage, decompose requirements, and carry out product development and change management;
- Identify risks and develop system solutions during product development;

What You Need
- Rich experience in energy storage system solutions, with deep understanding and engagement experience in the North American energy storage market and customers (integrators/IPP/owners);
- Bachelor's degree or above, good English communication skills, experience working in North America preferred;
- Background in electrochemistry, mechanical, electrical engineering, etc.;
- Knowledge of Energy Storage related products, with a background in R&D technology preferred;
- Strong resource integration and cross-disciplinary thinking abilities.
- Strong ability to handle pressure and explore new opportunities, and willing to accept new challenges;
- Strong communication skills, with leadership qualities;
- Other duties as assigned
- Understands and follows all standards of IATF16949 and VDA 6.3 quality standards. (training and awareness will be provided for those who are not familiar with these standards)
