Position Summary
AES Restaurant Group is seeking an organized, detail-oriented HR Onboarding and Benefits Administrator to support our corporate payroll and HR operations in Zionsville. This role is responsible for onboarding administration, benefits enrollment support, unemployment claims documentation, and maintaining accurate employee records.
This position is best suited for someone who enjoys structured, process-driven work and takes pride in accuracy, follow-through, and documentation. The role supports a direct leadership style and requires comfort receiving straightforward feedback and applying it quickly.
Key Responsibilities
HR Support Functions
• Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including document collection, task coordination, and I-9 support
• Maintain accurate digital employee files, records, and documentation
• Support compliance with company policies, labor laws, and benefits regulations
• Assist with HR reports, audits, and general administrative tasks
• Partner closely with the payroll team on employee setup, updates, and data accuracy
Benefits Administration
• Support employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and benefits-related questions
• Maintain and update employee benefit information using Employee Navigator
• Support open enrollment activities, including communications support and data entry
• Coordinate with insurance carriers and benefit partners as needed
• Assist with unemployment claims processing, including responding to requests, gathering required documentation, and ensuring timely and accurate submissions
• Maintain documentation and audit trail for unemployment claims
What We’re Looking For
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous HR experience or internship preferred but not required
• Familiarity with TalentReef and or Employee Navigator strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Strong written communication and ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
